Due to one of our lovely cooks retiring, we have a vacancy becoming available to cook in our Residential Care Home. The hours available are 8am-2pm on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The role involves making breakfasts (most commonly requested is porridge, cereal or toast, but the odd bacon sandwich may also be requested), preparing and cooking basic traditional homely meals. Our menus are developed with the residents where their usual choices are things like cottage pie, stews, hot pots etc followed by traditional puddings such as crumbles.
