Well what an amazing morning we had at Polventon House , we had the fabulous Duane AJ Music  come and sing  for us ..as usual he put smiles on our residents faces, we so look forward to our visits.

Due to storm Goretti, we had our internet knocked out for a little while which meant that we now have a back log of photos of different activities to upload and show off. Despite the awful weather, we have still had a lot of fun over the past few weeks with lots of different craft activities, live music, flower arranging and general fun and games. The pesky wind wont keep our spirits down, even if it does knock a few of our trees over!

We had a lovely visit from Paul Chinn  who came and entertained our residents ending the Christmas holidays with a few Christmas songs.

The Residents have had a lovely Christmas eve morning. Bailey's hot chocolates, mulled wine, mince pies  and a good old Christmas sing song with our lovely Michelle  ....and all of us at Polventon House  would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas  and a Happy New year.

Our Christmas hamper is made, So come grab a square for a £1 ...all donations have been from our lovely staff and relatives at Polventon House and all proceeds raised go to the residents activities fund.

Today we the sax man Derek Valenti  visit us, and ShellBelle   has made some beautiful floral displays for Christmas...

Craft fair today at 11am till 2pm. Come along, Everyone is welcome.

Hi all, we are planning a Christmas market on Friday the 5th December. 11am till 2pm in the home. If anyone would like to book a stall for the event please contact Sarah on 01326 280734 - it will be a donation to the home if you wish to have a stall.

Today we have making Poppy wreaths and getting the house ready for Remembrance Sunday.

Just a polite note to let people know that we are holding a small firework display at Polventon House  for our residents on the 5th November at 6pm. They are all ground fireworks and low noise.

Today our residents had the lovely Emily from zoo lab visit with some creepy crawly animals.
